Onur Tezel has finished his master’s ‘Human Movement Sciences’ at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and is currently working as a teacher for the bachelor ‘Applied Data Science & AI.’ He is a student career coach, teacher in mathematics/statistics, and a supervisor for student (graduation) projects.
Within the Data Science research group, Onur conducts research into the application of artificial intelligence within elite sports, predominantly soccer. This line of research focuses on accessible methods for the practical use of machine learning, with high external validity.
