Dr. Ester de Jonge is a nutrition scientist and public health epidemiologist by background. She has conducted, supervised and managed research activities in a variety of settings, including the food industry, the academia and the local government. Currently, her focus is on ethical, legal and social aspects of collecting, processing and interpreting data in public health programs. She has a specific interest in the ‘data invisible’ population groups and the prevention of ‘data- driven discrimination’.
