Amber Barten is a lecturer for Skin Therapy. She is a practical instructor, graduation supervisor, and coaches students in conducting research. Within the Data Science and the Oncological Care research groups, Amber conducts research into recognizing skin cancer lesions through skin therapy. This is with a view to a possible contribution of skin therapists in the screening of skin cancer in order to reduce the pressure on care in this way. In addition, Amber tries to make a connection between practice and education by recruiting assignments from practice together with colleagues and embedding them in education.
